Smythson / Journey to the Wild Side
Seeking out Buckingham Palace, American tourist (Phoebe Tonkin) finds herself on an unexpected adventure through the wilds of London, encountering CGI creatures and a mysterious Rhys Ifans along the way. Sophie Edelstein takes on a modern twist to the heritage brand with an exceptional whirlwind tour of the city.
Prompted by Rhys Ifans into a dream-like sequence, we are introduced to a series of CGI creatures leading a performance of directions for finding the palace.
Working over a period of 5 months to achieve a photoreal finish for each creature character, Lead Creatures Artist Harin Hirani oversaw the end to end build for the tiger, elephant and giraffe.
