Freefolk Window / The Last Stand

The Last Stand is the latest installation on our Soho window this summer, created by young filmmakers in conjunction with production company Rattling Stick.

The Last Stand

Inspiring and motivating through football and film, The Last Stand is the brainchild of Director Gundeep Anand, who started the movement bringing young people together across London with street football. This summer, through the support of Rattling Stick, will see a set of films created for each team playing in the final.

His mission to unite communities through sport has garnered a huge following since the first event in November. Since then, his initial documentary showcasing the players taking part has inspired budding young filmmakers to get in on the action and create team films.

After a two weeks delay out of respect for venue hosts in West London following the devastating fire at Grenfell Tower, the tournament went ahead on Sunday 2nd June. Going one further on the day, the event fundraised for those affected by the fire and the emergency services, garnering support from key sports news outlets SPORTbible and FourFourTwo.
