Ty Anthony is a Ravensbourne graduate and latest addition to the colour team. Making headway in short film, music video and commercial grading, Ty has worked alongside BAFTA ELEVATE Director Ashleigh Ashley, the fashion, luxury and cultural publication EE72, in addition to independent and upcoming film makers. Ty has been nominated to take lead in up and coming Director, Julia Mervis’ submission for the 2026 Yarns’ Homespun short film competition.

Noted for his intuitive approach to the practice, Ty brings a keen eye for skin tones, and well considered pallet selection. With a thoughtful and outgoing disposition, working with Ty can be described as a delightfully smooth experience.

“Film has been a significant cornerstone in my upbringing with my earliest memories taking place in cinemas. I think it definitely sparked a deep understanding of the story, and visual concepts. Not only as a means of holding your attention but also for the synaesthetic impact on your emotional spectrum.

I also find this in animation, of which I've had a life long appreciation for, where animators have been very intentional with the depth and complexity of colour and tone.

I’ve always been unorthodox in my way of thinking and moving through life. I believe this has given me a greater focus on overlooked details and a drive to make the mundane look beautiful.”
