I'm A Celebrity, The Guardian, TransPennine and more...
Over the past few months Freefolk have had the chance to work on some incredible campaigns, the latest of which are the set of seven idents we created for 'I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here' with ITV. Working on such an ambitious project with full CG environments required a close, coordinated team effort with meticulous planning. The project was headed by VFX Supervisors Harin Hirani and Jason Watts with grade by Paul Harrison.
Director Mike Baldwin says 'The team at Freefolk delivered above and beyond what anyone expected, leaving Ant and Dec speechless when they saw the final versions.'

Hope Is Power / The Guardian
Academy award-winning Pulse film director, James Marsh worked closely with Freefolk to bring The Guardian's symbol of hope to life for their first brand campaign in seven years. Hoping to encourage viewers to support it's journalism, the film follows a butterfly struggling to break a glass window until the glass shatters and the butterfly is set free.

Bet 365 / Bar UK
The Freefolk team, headed by Steve Murgatroyd and Andy Copping, started discussions on filming techniques for Bet365, and overall look of the film with the director Ben Craig at the treatment stage.
"Freefolk were an invaluable source of wisdom throughout the creation of these films, investing themselves at a very early stage. Their technical know-how helped design each shot and ultimately shape each spot. Having the adroit Steve Murgatroyd with us through the shoot and post really helped the whole process feel organic, spontaneous and never slave to technique. Steve and his team’s attention to detail and passion for flawless results is ingrained into every frame.” - Ben Craig

GET TOGETHER / TRANSPENNINE EXPRESS
We had a lot of fun with the VFX and grade on a quirky spot for TransPennine Express that included 24 humans size puppet passengers! Directed by Joseph Mann at Blinkink for Engine, the charming spot celebrates the arrival of the TransPennine Express state of the art trains and we were tasked with breathing life into the cheery travellers.
Director Joseph Mann says: 'The post requirements remained extensive and complex. Luckily, I was in safe hands with Freefolk. The team and post requirements were exceptionally coordinated by Charles Gillett. The post team was headed up by Andy Copping and Venancio David who, with their brilliant team enabled me to add all the high level of detail required to bring each character to life in the most nuanced ways possible. My post list was over 6ft long, sorry guys I will make sure the next ones a bit shorter!'
