The Kooples / Blackout

With a northern soul style dancehall, the couple at the center of the film only have eyes for eachother. Seemingly unaware of everyone else around them, the room falls in and out of blackness as the couple dance closer - a symbol of the blackout app main function.

Colourist Julien Biard explains the project was quite technical, ' I had to create a lot of dynamic grades throughout whilst keeping it as realistic as possible. The overall tones were orientated toward a 60's northern soul club vibe, but retaining a high fashion feel to it with polished skin tones'
