O2 / Priority Gift / Behind the Scenes
Invisible effects are needed on most commercials to some extent, usually for beauty work either on products or (even more taboo to mention!) on people. With puppeteers involved the work increases considerably, to make each shot seamless and the visual effects unnoticeable.
For O2's ad Priority Gift, directors Si&Ad chose to use puppetry rather than CGI to retain the charm of shooting the action in camera. With the amount of puppeteers needed to control the ribbons and gifts, the talent of our 2D artists was paramount to achieving these invisible effects.
