The Perlorian Brothers direct the jovial 'Mathematician' for Duncan Channon in their latest comedic campaign 'Almost A Genius' for DriveTime, alongside 'Squid'. Graded by Paul Harrison and Creative Direction by Jason Watts.

As the main environmental character, the chalkboard underwent an enlargement to a supersized wall covering. Nuke Artist Rob Sheridan outlines the process, 'From the outset there was a clear vision of how the chalkboard would be created. By combining on set images, scanned hand drawn equations and a variety of chalkboard textures we combined these to achieve an overwhelming sense of scale that would instantly grab attention.

'Creating the initial Chalkboard asset early on in the post process we could easily transition into the close up shots, speeding up the entire process and ensuring a consistent image throughout the film. The majority of the comp work was completed in Nuke whilst the final touches were finished in Flame.'
