VCCP enlist the directing talents of Traktor through Rattling Stick for BetVictor. Graded by Freefolk Colourist Paul Harrison and VFX work led by Artist Jason Watts.

The 3 commercials open on two men on a sunlit riveria showing a no-frills deal on the BetVictor app. Little needs to be said to promote the site as they let the offers speak for themselves in these fun spoof spots. After the intro to the app, the men are at a loss for words on how to fill the rest of the ad time, so one suggests seeing how the other bookies feel about this. Cut to a laddish gambling ad spoof, in a short but memorable parody.

Jason Watts led the work in Flame, comprising of invisible clean up and compositing backgrounds in green screen shots. ‘The series involved 15 different edits that we needed to work on in a short space of time, but the director lent creative responsibility to allow us to source ways of making the shots work to speed up the process.’

Writer Chris Birch and Art Director Jonny Parker are inspired in creating these funny simple spots for BetVictor in a bold move away from the previous character for the brand.
