We established our Film & Episodic department in 2016. Its year-on-year growth has helped us become one of London's most successful, trusted, and creative companies. Our clients include Netflix, Amazon, BBC, Disney, Apple, Paramount, TNT, Universal, and Warner Bros.

The Team

MEG GUIDON - EXEC PRODUCER

Meg joined Freefolk in 2019 as Exec Producer to head up production for the Emmy winning longform department, working on series such as Cursed (Netflix), Pennyworth (HBO), Welcome To Earth (Nat Geo/Disney), The Third Day (Sky), The Baby (Sky), Fate: The Winx Saga (Netflix), the as yet unreleased Anansi Boys (Amazon), KAOS (Netflix), Dr Who (Bad Wolf/BBC) and most recently Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival 2025.

Meg started her long-form career at Cinesite, then onto Millfilm, where she worked with the Oscar-winning Gladiator VFX team, ahead of relocating to LA, appointed by the DTI as the UK’s VFX ambassador representing the industry to the US studios. On her return, Meg worked freelance for VFX studios including Framestore, Molinare, Lipsync, Lola, and animation powerhouse Passion Pictures. International facility experience includes Mikros Image, Pictorion Das Werk, as well as Krayon Studios (Pune, India), helping guide their production pipeline and build their animation divisions, respectively.

STEVE MURGATROYD - VFX SUPERVISOR

Steve Murgatroyd is Freefolk's Supervisor of Long Form VFX and an Emmy Award-winning Flame artist & Supervisor.

Steve's passion for VFX work combined with his dedication, attention to detail and extensive experience as an on-set supervisor and flame artist has proved invaluable when leading a team and creating industry-leading effects. Steve is the VFX Supervisor on Wes Anderson’s new film The Phoenician Scheme as well as 'Hijack' for Apple TV and Apple's upcoming 'Last Seen'. Steve was previously the lead Supervisor on the Emmy Award-winning, VES and Bafta-Nominated series 'The Alienist', Bafta-Nominated 'Emerald City’ and Netflix series ‘KAOS’. His technical, creative and hands-on understanding of post-production across multiple disciplines is testament to his position as VFX Supervisor.

HARIN HIRANI - VFX SUPERVISOR

Harin Hirani is Freefolk’s award-winning Head of 3D and led the CG team for TNT/Paramount’s ‘The Alienist’, which won an Emmy for Outstanding Visual Effects (2018).

Recently he has delivered over 140 science fiction planet environment shots for Dr Who (S2 Ep 3) The Well, and a further 730 shots on 'Anansi Boys' (Amazon), 350 shots for ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’, 200 shots on Netflix’s Bafta-Nominated ‘Cursed’, and hero environments and FX shots for the critically acclaimed HBO series ‘The Third Day’ starring Jude Law. He has also overseen major advertising campaigns for Freefolk, working with a handpicked team of CG artists to build a strong department that offers a deep understanding across a broad skillset of key 3D and FX disciplines, including Houdini, animation and creature work.

ROB SHERIDAN - VFX SUPERVISOR

Rob Sheridan is an accomplished VFX Supervisor working across Freefolk's most complex sequences from fully CG landscapes in Fast X (Universal) to battle sequences and set extensions in Napoleon (Apple TV). Recently, Rob supervised on set and delivered over 120 shots on BAFTA-nominated 'Mr Bigstuff' for Sky. He was also VFX Supervisor on Bad Tidings (Sky) and lead the team on Hijack (Apple TV), across difficult comps involving varying weather and Spring-for-Winter adjustments.

Rob was Freefolk’s VFX Supervisor on Anansi Boys, completing 730 shots (Amazon Studios) - a magical series with ambitious set extension work, recreating sun-kissed Florida from Scottish location plates, also Brixton and several very challenging face replacement scenes. After Anansi Boys, Rob led the longform team on Doctor Who, supervising 140 shots for Russell T Davies’ favourite episode of the series (S2 Ep 3) - The Well.
